The founder of Karakter Records, Amsterdam resident Pedro Martins is a connoisseur, crate digger of the hypnotic, rhythmic and the intense alternative music.
Pedro’s knack for quality and selection has landed him gigs in most of The Netherlands most famed booths including Amsterdam’s De Marktkantine, Radion, Chicago Social Club, Ruigoord, Magneet Festival, Georgies Festival, and Red Light Radio, Den Haag’s Het Magazijn, and Utrecht’s Poema. Internationally, Pedro has appeared at the likes of Sisyphos, Burg Schnabel and Birgit & Bier in Berlin, while also traveling to Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Porto, Lisboa, Rio de Janeiro, London, Leeds, and Frankfurt amongst others.
